I am becoming a "susie home-maker"
After Makayla decided to be a ladybug this year for Halloween I went on the hunt for the "perfect" costume. I had a picture in my head but alas none of the ladybug costumes found were good enough for my little princess. Ok, one was, but the tutu alone was 70 bucks. So I thought "How hard can it be?" "I'll just make her one myself." So I looked up how to make a tutu on the internet and since I'm simply amazing here it is.....Perfectly perfect (after 4 hours and hotglueing 110 sparkling jewels and a few burned fingers later). We did find the wings and antennae on the web and the shoes are just ballet slippers I modified to match her cute tutu. Doesn't she look adorable? Can't wait to show her off on Halloween. Oh, whats that? I have other children needing costumes? nonsense, its all about the girlie things......;)
Back view of the wings and springy antennae. And Wendy's back view also.... sorry Wendy!!
Gotta have the shoes. Oh look at that. Cooper apparantly wanted his "back viewed" also...There you go Cooper.
The cute antenae and of course you all know ladybugs don't have teeth anyway....
Makaylas seal of approval, she is confident that if she comes across a costume competition she'll win!
